Telsa to release a fourth electric vehicle Telsa have also revealed that they are likely to add more electric vehicles to their line up, especially after the success of the Telsa Motor X (which had 500 vehicles preordered in just 24 hours of its official release).

The fifth in our series of blogs on London's Low Emission Zone examines the impact of recent changes on medium-sized vehicles such as vans, minibuses and pick-ups. Under the tighter rules of the LEZ, which came into effect on 3 January this year, a number of medium-sized vehicles are required to meet the Euro III standard for particulate matter (ie exhaust emissions) in order to drive within the zone without paying a daily charge.

Mazda have pledged to cut its emissions and fuel usage by around 30% by 2015. This promise is no different to most other manufacturers, however, Mazda are aiming to achieve it without dependence on new-founded hybrid and electrical technology.

Figures from the SMMT's annual CO2 report has found some interesting results regarding the size of company fleet in relation to their CO2 emissions. Large fleets, with over 25 cars, continue at the top of the rankings, producing the least harmful gas.
