The Infiniti M37 has now arrived in the UK, which Infiniti claim is styled based on their Essence Concept Car. Although the exterior isn't the most attractive in the world it is available in five different trim levels and certainly comes with a long list of extras.

The entry level model comes in at £35,000 and the most expensive, the S Premium at £45,000. Other trim levels are the GT, the GT premium and the S model. The Infiniti M37 is supposed to be a bit like Marmite, you either love it or you hate it.

The layout of the car is supposed to be a little old-fashioned, with a very low waistline (which does mean brilliant visibility on the other hand) and the back passengers are higher than the front. But…this does mean the back feels a lot more spacious.

The car has a large bright dashboard and is highly equipped with modern fittings such as bi-xenon lights, electric seats, double-glazing, rear view camera, heated steering wheel (!) 18inch wheels and 2GB music hard drive, to list a few!

The GT premium has a function called blind spot intervention which will actually stop the vehicle from switching lanes if it will cause an accident, Bode Hi-Fi and Satellite Navigation.

The standard petrol engine of the car is a 3.7 petrol V6 with 316bhp and the standard diesel is a 3.0litre V6 which comes close to reaching BMW's figures for speed, emissions and economy.
