The Vision D marks a new design direction for Skoda, a firm that in the past had been the butt of many an auto joke, but is now a serious car maker with quality products on offer. The name 'Skoda' has been dropped from its badge, a new shade of green has been used for the new lurel leaf emblem, 'Skoda green' the name.

This concept is a five-door hatch, which will most probably fit into the line-up between the Fabia and the Octavia, arriving hopefully be 2013. There is amble space inside, but most impressively is the new technology used. A tablet computer, which doubles as a touch-screen display, and can be removed from the car for personal use once the journey's over!

The final concept is the Vauxhall Zafira Tourer. This is the 3rd generation model, and externally is just about the finished article for when is does eventually come on sale at the end of this year. It will be once again a three row seven seat family car. Like the smaller Meriva, the Zafiria will be using the new Flex seating system, which allows the middle row of seats to be moved to create "captain's chairs" with an armrest.
